Over a period of 5 months, Driscoll communicated with the bank that owned my house. He was finally able to convince the bank that my offer was in line with the value of the house. The bank had been poorly informed that the house was worth $150,000 more than its realistic sale price. The bank was not easy to work with because there was a constant change of contact with people who did not return phone calls or respond to messages. But Tim kept at it and finally learned that if we had the house's defects documented by a licensed contractor as well as the cost to repair or replace each defect, the bank would consider lowering the estimate of the house's value. Not many realtors have the perseverance and patience to deal with a bank over the five months that Tim did.
